Donut King free donuts and selfie competition

A selfie? Yes, I am taking a selfie, but before I go further on the topic, you may have noticed that I’ve been absent for a while since last post. Tina cut her finger through while cooking and I had to be in hospital with her all week last week. Anyway, I may have missed out on the competition but it’s always great to share my food experience.

I was invited to participate in a campaign that Donut King created recently. There were two competitions associated with the campaign.

Free Cinnamon Donut campaign:

Social media users who post a status update that use the word ‘donut’ and includes ‘#donutking’ can simply show their status on their mobile device to the staff on the same day at any of Donut King’s 315 outlets nationally and they will be rewarded with one classic Cinnamon Donut.

Donut Selfie Competition:

Every selfie uploaded to social media using #donutking and featuring a donut will go in the draw to win a year’s supply of donuts. We’re bringing together people’s love for taking photos of their food, taking selfies and giving them a chance to win an amazingly cool prize.

By participating in this competition, I was offered 12 donuts showcasing the real flavours of Donut King. What I especially liked the donuts are that they are very soft in texture while the sugar hit can easily make a sweet teeth person to laugh. It’s great! The donuts are also made with different shapes and I am sure the kids will love all the dinosaur and the star! 😀
