My birthday! Yay, not really that excited cos I am now an old foodie fellow :(. I am not looking forward to my next birthday. However, when it comes to food for my birthday, I am more than happy that my birthday is coming one after another :D. My regular readers know that I crave for Japanese food and my wife knows that too. So, for every birthday dinner, it’s always with endless Japanese small dishes and sushi, sushi and sushi.
Small plates
Chicken Yakitori
Beef and Enoki Mushroom rolls – The delicate taste and smooth texture of the enoki mushrooms were great addition to the already very tender beef roll and can make me chew on for ages.
Mayura Station Score 8 Scotch Beef Sashimi – The best meat I’ve ever had. Not only moist and tender, the meat gave a true melt-in-the-mouth experience. The meat itself was fragrant with slight beefy flavour and a hint of honey on palate. The longer you chew on them, the better you will find the fine texture. {Adelaidefoodies Recommended}
Sushi Board
Black seaweed caviar uramaki with salmon stuffing
Herring caviar uramaki
Uramaki with seasoning
Avocado uramaki with salmon stuffing
Seaweed salad ship
Tamago Nigirizushi with fly fish roe topping
Salmon Nigirizushi and Eel Nigirizushi
Happy Birthday!!! Your wife is talented! What a Feast! Enjoy! 😀 Fae.

I’m a huge fan of Japanese food too! Was the steak for the sashimi the same steak you got from Feast that you tweet a little while back?
